The immersive, sensory tour: Lose yourself in the fabulous history of Burgundy wines
Covering 1100 m² in total, explore the history, expertise, traditions and heritage of the entire Burgundy wine region. Listen to the winemakers' stories, interact with multimedia displays, experience the range of aromas and take part in a tasting... All your senses are brought into play to understand this unique wine culture.
A kid-friendly tour for children with fun, multi-sensory activities about the history of Burgundy’s vineyards.
Don't miss the Belvedere at the end of the tour! Enjoy free access to the panoramic terrace, 20 metres up, by strolling along the freely accessible spiral route. A spectacular view of the Côte de Beaune awaits!
Opening times and dates for the Beaune site:
Annual closure from 5 to 18 January 2026
The bar and shop are open at the same times as the visitor experience. The bar closes at 3.00pm.

Tours start: from 10.00am, every 1.5 hours until the last departure, depending on closing time
Starting at: 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm, 2.30pm, 4.00pm (low and mid-season; final tour at 5.00pm: lasts 1 hour), 5.30pm (high season)
Tour lasts: 1 hr 30
Tours available in French, English, German and Chinese (For foreign languages: audio guide +€1)
Additional information: Tickets purchased at the counter or on the Beaune & Pays Beaunois Tourist Office website are valid ALL DAY on the date of the service purchased by the customer, within the opening hours and dates of the Cité des Climats & Vins de Bourgogne, as mentioned above, subject to the health regulations in force on the date of your visit.
BOOKING REQUIRED (limited number of people per time slot on the Beaune site of the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne).
You can show your printed ticket or e-ticket on your smartphone to access your experience.
The young persons’ rate applies to visitors between 6 and 17 years old.
The reduced rate applies only upon presentation of proof of eligibility at the access control point.
Reduced rate applies to: job seekers, students, people with disabilities, holders of the education pass, tour guide card and ICOMOS card.
Free admission applies to children under 6 and caregivers of people with disabilities.
