To open the Beaune Blues Boogie 2024 Festival on Wednesday 27 November, pianist Julien Brunetaud and singer Nicolle Rochelle will perform in a quintet with Jean-Baptiste Gaudray (guitar), Julie Saury (drums) and Bruno Rousselet (double bass) at the Lanterne Magique in Beaune.
Julien Brunetaud is regarded as one of the finest Boogie woogie & Blues pianists on the international scene. Nominated several times and voted best European pianist in 2005, he invites the superb Nicolle Rochelle (USA), who played Joséphine Baker at the Casino de Paris.
