Château de la Crée - On your Bike experience for the “Terroirs“ of Santenay & picnic

Combine the pleasures of life with a ride through the heart of nature... Breathe in the fresh air and follow your guide on a unique exploration of Santenay’s “terroirs”.
At the controls of a LAPIERRE electric bike, you'll appreciate the beauty of the landscapes of the renowned Côte de Beaune.
Wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike, accompanied by your guide, make your way serenely through the “Climats” (vineyard plots), a UNESCO World Heritage site, from Maranges to Santenay.
We’ll visit some of our iconic vineyards, such as: Santenay - La Confrérie - Santenay 1er Cru - Gravières Santenay 1er Cru - Beauregard Santenay 1er Cru - Clos Faubard etc., where we’ll discuss the Burgundy classification system, and more specifically, the Santenay appellation.
During your experience, you can discover the impact of the “terroir”, its importance, and how it translates into your glass. And during a break at Moulin Sorine, we'll enjoy a wine tasting out among the vines.
Then, it’s time to head back to the Château where, after a 10 km trip through our vineyards, you can enjoy three more wines from the estate during a guided, interactive tasting, ideally held outdoors.
Château de la Crée picnic:
Before or after your experience ... surrounded by nature, enjoy the space and tranquillity of the château’s grounds.
It’s a great opportunity to relax and enjoy time with family or friends.
Your picnic basket includes a selection of items from the market (a cold dish), cheese, a dessert, and a bottle of water (33 cl).
Your picnic is prepared using fresh, seasonal, local products.
A selection of wines are available for purchase to complement your meal.
A junior picnic, for children up to 12 years old, is also available (to be booked separately - please contact us).

Experience available Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1 May to 30 September 2026
Tour start times:
1 May to 30 September 2026: Wednesdays at 9.30am and Saturdays at 9.30am only
