Château de la Crée - Château de la Crée experience (picnic option)
Presentation
Historical presentation of Château de la Crée, founded in 1431 by Nicolas Rolin (Chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy) and the cultural richness of the village of Santenay (Gallo-Roman remains, Monasteries, Mountain of the Three Crosses...).
We then return to our vines in Santenay - Clos du Château, covering 1.5 hectares, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Observing the landscape that surrounds us perfectly illustrates the classification of Burgundy appellations and the importance of the Terroir.
We’ll cover the specifics of the Santenay appellation, Château de la Crée, not forgetting the management of the vines.
Then it’s time to go down into our vaulted cellars from the 15th century. Here, you can enjoy 4 wines from the estate during a commented, interactive tasting.

Before or after your experience, in the heart of nature, enjoy the space and tranquillity of the château’s park.
A moment of relaxation enjoyed together with family or friends awaits you.
You’ll find in your basket items purchased from the market (cold dish), a cheese, a dessert, as well as a bottle of water (33cl):
Your picnic is made from fresh, seasonal, local products.
A selection of wines will be offered for sale to further enhance your meal.
A junior picnic, up to 12 years old, is also available (must be booked separately, contact us)

Experience available 7 days a week from 1 May to 30 September 2022
Tours depart:
From May 1st to September 30th : every day: 10.30am – 12.30pm
