Art du Tonneau is a great way to immerse yourself in the history of barrel-making.
Art du Tonneau offers events in our premises in Vignoles, as well as throughout France.
Learn and discover the entire history of cooperage during more than 2000 years. We’ll teach you how to assemble your own barrel through an original, fun, participatory workshop.
Our concept is the only one of its kind in France! A fun, participatory workshop, ideal for your seminars or family outings in a very friendly atmosphere. We can welcome you on your own or in a group. We invite you to discover barrel-making in our workshop.
Our workshops take place in 3 parts: first, we explain the entire history of cooperage, the type of wood and work involved. Then, you’ll assemble YOUR own barrel, before discovering the heating, heading and final steps before despatch.
So wait no more... Surprise your participants with an original, fun event!
Opening times and period:
• 2 January to 31 December 2025
Shop open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm (recommended: contact the organiser before your visit). Evenings and weekends: by appointment.
Start times*: Wednesdays at 2.00pm and Sundays at 10.00am.
