Art du Tonneau invites you to immerse yourself in the history of cooperage.
Art du Tonneau offers workshops at our Vignoles location as well as throughout France.
Learn and discover the entire history of cooperage, spanning over 2000 years. We'll teach you how to build your own barrel through an original, fun, interactive workshop.

Our concept is unique in France! A fun, interactive workshop, ideal for your seminars or family outings with a friendly atmosphere. We can accommodate individuals or groups. We invite you to discover barrel making in our workshop.
Our workshops are divided into three parts: first, we explain the history of cooperage, the types of wood used and work involved. Then, you'll build YOUR OWN barrel, and finally, learn about toasting, heading, and the final steps before delivery.

Shop open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm (recommended: contact the organiser before your visit). Evenings and weekends: by appointment.
