22nd edition of De Cep en Verre - Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August 2026

Presentation

Nolay Celebrates on 1 and 2 August!

In the historic centre of Nolay, in the southern Côte d'Or region, 18 km from Beaune, the Tourist Agency, in partnership with the Hautes Côtes Winegrowers' Association, is organising a fun, educational, friendly event celebrating its vineyards and wines, as well as live performances.

Around forty artisans will share their passion with you: soap makers, artistic potters, leatherworkers, blacksmiths, stained-glass artists, ceramicists, basket weavers, wood turners and more. These craftsmen and women showcase their talent and expertise through demonstrations, a true living heritage. Games and workshops for children are also available.

Participatory workshops in wood turning, stone carving and mosaics entertain both young and old. The festivities will be in full swing with street performances, musicians, singers and other companies, all in a friendly atmosphere.

Eight winemakers from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes appellation.
The winemakers will share their secrets with you through guided tastings.

Learn and have fun for free: giant wooden games for the whole family and learning workshops for children to delight everyone from 7 to 77.

In addition to all this, on Sunday 2 August 2026, there will be a 7 km walking rally suitable for all the family. This walk takes you through the countryside, between hedgerows and vineyards, with six tasting stops to meet winemakers who work closely with nature and will explain how they work to respect the environment. The winemakers will reveal their secret vineyard spots to participants and share a wealth of anecdotes. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the wild, unspoiled nature.
Equipped with a set of questions, participants in this walking rally can solve vineyard-related puzzles and receive their reward at the awards ceremony at the end of the route, held in front of the church in Nolay.
