Presentation

Housed in the former Hôtel des Ducs de Bourgogne, the museum is a showcase for the history of vine-growing and wine-making, revealing the richness of wine-growing Burgundy and highlighting the unique character of the Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Workshops and events are organised throughout the year for all ages.
Collections of old wine presses can be visited in the vat room.

Opening times and dates :
Open from 21 March to 21 September 2025: open every day, EXCEPT TUESDAYS, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm (ticket office closes 30 minutes before the museum closes).
Closed on Tuesdays and 1 May 2025

Open on 15 and 16 November 2025: 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm.

The Musée du Vin will be exceptionally free of charge on :
17 May 2025 (European Museum Night): from 7pm to 11pm
20 and 21 September 2025 (European Heritage Days): from 10am to 6pm

Additional information:
Guided tour on request; duration: 1 hour; €5 (individual rate in addition to admission fee).
You can present your printed paper ticket or your e-ticket on your smartphone.

The ticket is valid once, from the date of purchase until 21 September 2025 and on the weekend of the wine sale on 15 & 16 November 2025, during the site's opening periods and times, and in accordance with the health regulations in force on the date of the visit.
