Presentation

A masterpiece by the Italian architect Sebastiano Serlio, this château houses one of the largest collections of murals (16th and 17th centuries) currently preserved in France.

Through his home, Antoine de Clermont-Tallard, brother-in-law of the famous Diane de Poitiers, expresses his pronounced taste for Italian art.

The main courtyard, Art Chamber, Pharsale Gallery and Diane Room are only examples to reflect the very spirit of the Renaissance.

In the park, the two new creations on the West (2016) and East (2017) sides were rewarded at the Victoires du Paysage with a silver victory award. Finally, on the South side, the elegance of the English-style park and its famous Folly of 1760."
